Awake
It is one am in the morning and I am not sleepy yet. My wife and my dog are both passed out asleep in the bed in the bedroom snoring so I cant sleep. Today was the first time I went to work after I got my hair all buzzed off on friday night. All the kids asked me what had happened to my hair and they all wanted to touch my bald head. After work I came home and walked Karrie wood for a little while while I waited for my wife DeeDee to come home from work. She is on spring break from school. It is going to be nice having her come home every day this week something that doesnt happen that often because of her school and work. We ate pizza for dinner and had a few irish drinks. It was nothing too exciting but it was nice to just hang out at home. I don't like mondays but who does. I think monday is the worst day of the week. Honestly I dont like the beginning of anything. Also I hate early morning. I would rather stay up all night instead of geting up early. I remember when we where going to las Vegas and we has to leave the house at 4 am for the airport. It was much easier for me to just not goto bed while my wife had to goto bed and sleep then get up in the morning. But she is a morning person and I am not. I hate the morning. LIke the alarm clock will go off and I will hit the snooze button a million times because i dont want to get up. But she will get up right when the alarm goes off, watches tv and gets ready to goto work. While I wait to the last second to get out of bed, run to the shower, and get dressed to goto work and run out the door. But by 10 pm my wife is usally falling asleep on the couch and I am geting my second wind and ready to do something. That is usally when i came on here and work on my blog.

Going bald for cancer
Today is March 14th and I got my head shaved for St. Baldrick's.
"St. Baldrick's is the world's largest volunteer-driven fundraising event for childhood cancer research. Thousands of volunteers shave their heads in solidarity of children with cancer, while requesting donations of support from friends and family.
At a St. Baldrick's event, something amazing happens. People who normally shy away from the very thought of childhood cancer find themselves compelled to support this cause after looking into the face of these brave children who are smiling broadly as their friends and family members proudly display their newly shorn heads.
Volunteers and donors see it can be fun to support a serious cause. Young cancer patients and survivors see how many people care. And researchers see St. Baldrick's funds helping to find cures!

South Side Parade

Myspace Graphics
Last weekend me and DeeDee decied we would try and go to the chicago south side parade which was on June 9, 2008. It was a week earlyer this year because easter and palm sunday. Since we had never been to the southside we decided to take a bus from Timothy O'Tooles Pub which was located near Ohio Street. We woke up at 8 am which sucked because it was like 7 am because of the time change. When we got to timothy o'tooles they sold cases of beer for 5 bucks. We bought an entire case of PBR beer and took it onto the bus with us. Then i sold two cans of beer on the bus for 5 dollars and got our money back.
alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5177401305990910738" />The bus droped us off at western and 100 street right where the parade was going to start. We walked down the street to 115 looking for some other people who where going to the parade but there was so many people there that we never found them.
It was crazy down there people where drinking everywhere and some people got arested for doing stupid stuff. The parade was really short. Alot of people said it was shorter then most years maybe because it was so cold out. Then we had to walk all the way down the street to 119 and Western to catch the bus home. Along the way we saw people selling hot dogs so we stoped and had one. We then took the bus back to the bar and then came home.
